Testimonial by SFU coach - Mike Renney
"Having had the opportunity to observe the Okanagan Softball camp in action on a number of occasions, I can attest to the quality of experience that it offers...I feel it offers the participants, not only a softball enrichment opportunity but a chance to meet other athletes from across Western Canada... It is through participation in camps such as the "Big League Experience" camp that athletes can further enhance their skills that could very well lead to collegiate or perhaps even National Team opportunities."
Mike Renney has been part of the Olympic Tradition since 1996. Having coached in the last three Olympic games, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia and the 2000 games held in Sydney, Australia, and 2004 in Athens, Greece. Mike is also the head coach of the Nationally ranked Simon Fraser University Softball team. In 2005 he successfully guided Simon Fraser to becoming the NAIA National Champions and was named the NAIA coach of the year.
