OSC offers PayPal Option

The Okanagan Softball Camp is pleased to announce that OSC guests will now have the option of making their camp and clinic payments online through our new online partner, PayPal.

Owner Marty Lehn, “We were recently advised that due to liability and legal issues we were not going to be able to process credit card payments over the phone or through the mail. More importantly, it helped us recognize that there have been many times when it has not been easy to get in touch with us in the office, so after careful research and consideration we are pleased to announce that our guests will now be able to make payments online. PayPal brings much more security to our user’s confidential information, which is extremely important in these times. The new online payment option makes it easier for all involved and we thank all of you for your patience and support."

News Release – 2010 OSC Summer Camp Schedule

The 2010 OSC Summer Camp schedule is finalized with Individual Camps for players, ages 10 to 16+. Owner Marty Lehn, “The OSC staff are all excited about the 2010 schedule, over a two week period in mid August, we will welcome players of all abilities focusing on all aspects of improving their game.”

The OSC summer camps offer quality coaching and instruction in a positive, fun and professional atmosphere. OSC players are developed through positive reinforcement and rewarding experiences, in the spirit of competition.

Experienced players and coaches make up the staff of counselors and instructors at the Okanagan Softball Camp. They give each camper individual attention, outstanding mentorship and skills training providing exposure to the best softball environment this country has to offer.

Kicking off the 2010 OSC camp season will be the OSC 14/15 Individual Camp, designed for players of all skill levels born in ‘96 and ’95. Players will work on skill development including specialized positional instruction along with all aspects of hitting, game defense and base running. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt and professional instruction will be $600. Dates of the camp are August 16 (noon) to 21.

The OSC 15+ Individual Camp is designed for players of all skill levels born in 1995 or earlier. The 15+ camp will work on specialized positional instruction along with all aspects of hitting, game defense and base running. New for 2010, the camp will offer a seminar for players wishing to continue playing in university or college. The seminar will deal with Post education placement and scholarship opportunities information. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt and professional instruction and seminars will be $600. Dates of the camp are August 16 (noon) to 21.

The 10/12 Individual Camp, running August 22 (noon) to 27 is designed for players born in 2000 to 1998. This camp is ideal for all skill levels and will focus on building the fundamentals of the game along with specialized positional instruction and all aspects of hitting. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt and professional instruction will be $600.

The 12/14 Individual Camp, running August 22 (noon) to 27 is designed for players born in 1998 to 1996. This camp is ideal for all skill levels and will focus on strengthening the fundamentals of the game along with specialized positional instruction, all aspects of hitting, game defense and base running. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt and professional instruction will be $600.

2009 OSC SUMMER CAMP REVIEW

The 2009 OKANAGAN SUMMER CAMPS ended in a splash with Coach Brittany and her team taking it for the group. 2009 saw two weeks of camps with over 120 girls play, practice and work hard in a variety of weather from heat waves to near typhoon. Once again old friendships were re-established and new ones formed and under the coaching of a dedicated group of top level coaches and instructors, everyone went home a better player. Marty and the OSC staff wish to thank all players and teams who attended camp and wish them “All the BEST!” in the upcoming fall ball season. OSC REFERRAL PROGRAM

The OSC Camp Referral program continues. If your name is listed in the registration of a NEW camper, you will receive a $25 credit on your camp account. Be sure that your new camper lists your full name in the section that asks "How you heard about us?"

There is no limit to this program other than the camper must be a NEW attendee. Bring a friend to camp, have fun and save!
